Un fin de semana en el que simplemente me quería olvidar de todo, encendí el televisor, no había algo medianamente bueno para ver, y por azares del destino, encontré un DVD que hace mucho tiempo me pasaron y no había tenido la oportunidad de ver, esa película era la de Identity.

El protagonista es John Cusack, muchas de las veces ha hecho trabajos decentes, pero no es uno de mis actores favoritos, en este lo hace regular. Enfocandose en la película, al inicio de esta pensaba que era una más de muchas películas thriller, donde un asesino va fulminando uno a uno de los personajes, al último solo queda un sobreviviente que mata al asesino y devela su identidad. La historia no es así, pero dá una cierta apariencia de que si.

Básicamente son dos historias que parecen no tener relación alguna, que despues de un tiempo todo comienza a tener sentido y toma un twist, no les cuento más, sino les arruínaría la película. Se me hizo entretenida.

Otra película que quiero ver es la de Primer, con nulas posibilidades de que algún día la estrenen en México, pero con la oportunidad de comprar el DVD.

Ya hace bastante tiempo que una película de super-heroes no me gustaba tanto, Spiderman y sus secuelas deben morir lentamente en el infierno, sinceramente superó mis expectativas — muy bajas por cierto — y sobretodo la película se concentra más en los propios personajes los cuales no son tan exagerados, contrario a lo que pasaba en las peliculas dirigidas por Tim Burton. Deja muy abierta la posibilidad de re-hacer toda la serie completa, no digo más.

Lo más genial de la pelicula fue sentir el impacto de las bombas, lo cual al principio me sacó de onda y despúes me gustó como se sintió, pero creo que era un feature de la sala de cine o algo por el estilo.

Es recomendado que la vayan a ver, si les gusta este tipo de peliculas ó Batman.

Hay rumores, solo rumores, de que ya está rondando un .torrent de la película completa en una no tan buena calidad, pero vamos son tan solo rumores. Dicen que es un simple archivo de VCD, que no llega más allá de la calidad VHS, pero que es real, aunque esto todavía no lo hemos comprobado.

Tambien dicen que con algo de empeño se puede buscar fácilmente, y que aún no postean el link por miedo a las autoridades, pero que si espías — as in spy — o si haces una cacería — as in hunt — lo puedes encontrar. Ya decía yo que en Internet puedes encontrar todo. Me han dicho algunos que el archivo en cuestión puede ser un fake y que en realidad es la pelicula de “Kingdom of Heaven” traducida aquí en México como “Cruzada”.

Saben como en cada premiación del Oscar, los nominados, asistentes y artistas recibieron un paquete bastante generoso, por asistir y/o participar en esta entrega. Reciben generosas cortesías de hoteles y spa’s de prestigio, aparatos electrónicos, gadgets que todo geek quisiera tener en sus manos, entre otras cosas. Y bueno entre lo que destaca es la versión en negro del RAZR V3 de Motorola, exclusivo para esta ocasión, una suscripción por un año para el servicio de VoIP de parte de Vonage, etc.

Nah, you think i’m gonna talk about this great movie in the entire post, well no i’m not, i mean, yea i’m gonna do a mention of this movie, but i don’t have any other good title for this entry, and of course i have to get done a lot of things on this Saturday, my only of two free days what i have bu this moment, probably when i get in on college, again my only free day would be Sunday, anyways, i have to woke up at 8 am, thing that i didn’t do because of i was so fucking tired and i dindn’t wake up in that moment, it was about 9 am, and i was like “Ok, i have to wake up cuz i’m late!!!” i have to get ready about 10am, so i have to do everything fast as hell.

Well at 10am i must been in my private classes for the college exam, because the first one is going to be on 12th June and the next one i dunno when is going to be yet, i have to wait till 6th June to know when is going to be and what do i need for the registration.

So after my private classes i have to run to my nearest IFE place (who is where you can get your Identification) so i been i there about 1 hour and a half, so fucking boring a lot of people making the queue, so i have to wait a lot of time on there to finally get a confirmation that i will get a new one in 30 days.

Then about 4pm i get in the movie theater to see my most expected movie of the year, Kill Bill Vol. 2. In Mexico, has a very bad translation nothing to do with the original one, but what can i do?, nothing those translator bastards doesn’t know anything about put titles on movies. Anyways, the movie was great, the same quality as the first one i must say and i don’t know how people dare to say this second one is better than the first one, idiots, is the same movie, just this guy Quentin Tarantino want to make it more interesting cut it in two parts, with a LOTR style, you know, trying to be a trendwhore, but anyways, good movie, i enjoyed it and it worthed the $15 dollars i expense on it :)

So the fact that SixApart is going to charge MovableType and like i said on the first post, this MT thing it would be temporary, i decided to switch to another CMS, and give it a shot. Many people stick with Movable Type, but in this week i started to hate it, because, is for real a fucking hog for the server, and i hate when this shit needs to rebuild you know update the index file.

I think i like this program, a recommendation from someone else who also uses Textpattern and before SixApart did that annoucement he have MT for his site. Then i try it on my personal server, where i realized that i think this is slightly better in some stuff than WP.

So today ima see that Troy movie that everybody is talking about, to find out if is true that’s a good movie, not to mention, i’m still expecting for Kill Bill Vol. 2.

UPDATE I saw Troy this nite, and it was an ok movie, not so good at all, but oh well.

So yesterday was a mess for me, with this issue of my sister and stuff, my mom and my brother noticed that my sister have been drunk, but they dont say anything to me, this day, my sister look pretty weird, probably get grounded i dunno.

And of course, i didn’t see Kill Bill Vol. 2, i was very dissapointed cuz, its not even available in any movie theater, so before i go to the movies, i have the feeling to go to the Basilica de Guadalupe, you know, my religious and catholic side come out and told go there, i dunno why, i just got the feeling to go right there, and well, i stayed there around half an hour, and then, go to the most near movie theater.

The movie i chose for this day was Secret Window, a pretty good movie, not at all, but it has a very unexpected ending, you have to see it to know what i’m talking about.

So, this day, was… weird, and quiet, probably tomorrow i get out earlier from the job because of the Mothers Day. Anyways, this is it for today, i give you a good night, and have a nice week ;)
