March agaisnt abductions
Monday, June 28th, 2004Today was the march agaisnt abductions and crime here in Mexico City, one of the biggest on the whole history of manifestations on here. The people are saying that the number of people who assisted to this march almost reached the 1 million, instead of the media who’s saying that was about 250,000 of people. This is remarkable because you can actually see how many people care about the security on Mexico, many of us – yes, us – are tired of the un-efficient justice system in here.
Of course, any political force wasn’t allowed to participate in this manifestation, who i my personal opinion was great, because just plain citizens were in there.
If you didn’t knew, Mexico has the second highest number of kidnappings in the world and of course many of them are not reported to the police just for fear or just simply because of the justice system who sucks, simply sucks, very archaic if you ask.
A particular dress code was settle for this non-political march, just every single person must be worn white clothes in representation to no colors, equal ideas and no political differences.
