Apparently Microsoft didn’t like the idea to have competition and many people is saying when you send an GMail invite to any address of Hotmail the mail server will bounce it or sometimes misteriously disappear in some point in the transfer between the two servers, but who knows?… Of course everybody knows that Yahoo is directly sending the invites to the bulk mail folder. Of course there’s another rumor that various ISP’s are blocking GMail addresses in their mail servers, and of course the reason is for supposedly the GMail browses and reads the contents of your mail to show you very specific ads, and they arguing that it’s agaisnt privacy and blablabling, thing which is not true.
Let me explain how this AdSense works in this or the way i think it works. First yeah, it reads completly your email, but no, a fisical person doesn’t read the entire mail, is a program who does it, then this program looks for a criteria who fits with the available AdWords in the system. After all this searching the program returns a series of AdWords, no logs are recorded, of course the system, any system, had to read the mail to judge if the mail is real or is just spam. Why did i get that conclusion? Because, that’s the way it works AdSense, this must have to read something to display an accurate series of ads, if so, it shows ads from various non-profit organizations.
Anyways, the point to all this is because Yahoo and Microsoft are being un-ethical at the moment that they have more competition, and apparently they don’t want to improve their systems. But now, have you noticed that Yahoo increased their inboxes from 6MB to 100MB (and the size of their ads)?, you know, to not lose their audience, and changed completly their look, of course it has the same poor speed as always, but what can we do?… And Hotmail? fine thanks… heh, they don’t even care or they are just expecting for something, things that i’m not surely know, but lets see how this war between inboxes is starting…
