I must say this album impressed me, it starts very slow, and there’s a point on the first song that i was thinking all the album is gonna be slow and stuff. But no, this band didn’t dissapoint me, a worth to buy it, no matter if it’s physical or electronic mode, it’s a must have for this fall of 2004. The other impression i had about this album was the sound itself, you know, it’s not that changed or something, but evolved a lot from what some people heard on Turn on the Bright Lights…
The tracks i recommend… well every single track is just excellent, but these are my favorites: Next Exit, Evil, NARC, Take You On a Cruise, Slow Hands and Public Pervert. And i have to remark that doesn’t mean the other tracks are not good, they are more than good, but not my favorites or the ones i put on the repeat queue to make it a little more clear.
Oh yeah, and if you didn’t listened to their first album, you should, you will not regret, seriously. Did you notice I’m starting to analize and put a not so descriptive review of every single album drops in my hands :P
